July’s Playlist

It’s all Rush this month…. Why? As I mentioned, John invited me to go see them in concert. It was a great show. There were a lot of songs off of the new album and some “obscure” stuff that I didn’t know well at all. In order to get more familiar with some of the Rush songs that I don’t know, I created a playlist based on the set list from the show last week.

  1. That\’s a cool idea. How does it sound together? There are such different production values on those albums through the years…

It definitely wasn\’t a great setlist for someone that doesn\’t know the band in and out, but it was still a very fun show, wasn\’t it? Now I\’m trying to see if I can come up with the cash to see them at the Garden in Sept. (probably not)

  2. I caught their 30th anniversary performance on HDNET. It rocked. The wife gave me the ol’ “How can you listen to this???”
